  • D.O.B. May 12, 1983
  • Height: 5’5
  • Weight: 110
  • Sport: Rhythmic gymnastics

Deciding who would be number 1 was a tough choice, but it is the Russian beauty and world renown gymnast Alina Kabaeva who won our editors choice for the hottest female athlete. Kabaeva began training at age 3 and was destined to become Russia’s most successful gymnast in history. Holding 2 Olympic medals, 18 world championships and a total of 25 European championship medals, Kabaeva is one of the most decorated gymnasts ever. She may have even won more medals, but she decided to ‘retire’ at the age of just 25. In 2008 Kabaeva was involved at the center of a controversy with then-Russian President Vladimir Putin, with claims that the two of them were having an affair; accusations which were denied by both parties.

She now holds the position of Honored Master of Sports in Russia and is State Duma deputy for the United Russia party.

  • Height: 5'7
  • Weight: 119
  • Sport: Pole Vaulting

Coming in at number 2 is the stunning Allison Stokke, Pole Vaulter for the University of California. Stokke vaulted herself to Internet Fame after a picture of her taken at a track meet when she was 17 was posted on the Internet.

Stokke won her first California state championship at age 15 and shattered national records in her age division. In 2005 Stokke suffered a broken tibia when she fell into the concrete box after trying out a new pole during practice at Golden West College. But she quickly rebounded and was sought after by recruiters from top colleges across the country. Stokke chose the University of California at Berkeley and continues vaulting. I’ve got a feeling we’ll be seeing her on Team USA next summer.

Claudia Toth

3 - Claudia Toth

  • Country: Austria
  • D.O.B. May 24, 1981
  • Height: n/a
  • Weight: n/a
  • Sport: Curling

What is curling? First of all it’s played on ice and involves a rounded rock, perfect timing, and unbreakable focus. It also bodes one of the hottest female athletes in the world, Claudia Toth. Claudia is on the national Austrian curling team. She was approached once by German Playboy magazine for a photo shoot, but she declined their offer. Despite turning down Playboy she took her clothes off for the Women of Curling Calendar, a sexy calendar that boosted the sport’s notoriety. Surprisingly enough, not much is known about this mysterious woman of ice as she has avoided much public attention.

Leryn Franco

4 - Leryn Franco

  • Country: Paraguay
  • D.O.B. March 1, 1982
  • Height: 5'8
  • Weight: 123
  • Sport: Javelin Throw

Leryn Franco is the beauty from Paraguay; her looks struck me dead center. Franco caught the world’s attention in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and became the face of javelin throwing. Franco’s first competition win came in 2001 at the South American Junior Championship, however she hasn’t had many wins since then. Nothing spectacular—but this list isn’t about the best female athletes. She is arguably better known for her amazing beauty than her athletic prowess. In addition to her javelin throwing, she maintains a strong career as a model. In 2007 she posed for her own calendar and she was featured in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Lindsey Vonn

5 - Lindsey Vonn

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. October 18, 1984
  • Height: 5'10
  • Weight: 160
  • Sport: Skiing

The blonde bombshell from the USA with long legs that never end, Lindsey Vonn comes in at number five on our list. Making her World Cup debut in 2000 at age 16, she was on the move fast and just two years later found herself on the US Ski Team in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. She raised eyebrows when she was featured on the Olympic edition of Sports Illustrated. No, she was not naked—rather she was in her ski uniform and in a skiing position where she was bent over. There was talk amongst some that this pose sexualized her. Aside from attracting the attention of drama queens, Vonn is much better known for her success on the icy slopes, beginning with her downhill victory at the 2004 World Cup. Lindsey would go on to devastate her competition. To date Lindsey has a total of 40 World Cup victories in the downhill, Super G, slalom and super combined. Her Olympic gold and bronze medals, two World Championship gold medals and three World Cup titles, have made her one of the most successful American skiers ever.

Ana Ivanovic

6 - Ana Ivanovic

  • Country: Serbia
  • D.O.B. November 6, 1987
  • Height: 6'1
  • Weight: 152
  • Sport: Tennis

Okay, you all knew that eventually a hot tennis player from Eastern Europe would show up on here. It’s inevitable, really. Women of tennis are so athletic; running back and forth across the court twisting their torsos whilst leading their strike with the tennis racket, keeping up with that bouncy green ball, their bodies are incredibly toned and conditioned. Ana Ivanovic is the perfect assembling of hot body and cute, cute face. She got an early start, picking up her first racket at age 5. Training as a teenager in Belgrade during the war, Ivanovic witnessed bombings carried out by NATO in 1999. During the winter she had to train in an abandoned swimming pool, because there were no proper indoor facilities. Her story conjures up images of rocky. Nevertheless, on the court she is a cold, determined champion with a warm, inviting smile. In addition to tennis, Ivanovic is constantly engaged in educational pursuits and working with children, while studying Spanish in her spare time.

Maria Kirilenko

7 - Maria Kirilenko

  • Country: Russia
  • D.O.B. January 25, 1987
  • Height: 5'8
  • Weight: 127
  • Sport: Tennis

Another grand slam from Russia is tennis star Maria Kirilenko and friend of fellow tennis star Ana Ivanovic. Kirilenko began her passion for tennis at age 5 and later her father would enroll her into a tennis school. The investment in money and time spent training paid off for the young Maria as she would go on to win several tournaments. One day as Kirilenko was training she was spotted by Honored Master of Sports Elena Brioukhovets, who took her under her wing at the age of 12. This was the beginnings of her tennis stardom. She is a formidable force in the tennis world with 5 WTA titles and 3 ITF titles. Don’t let her innocent resonance fool you. Kirilenko is an aggressive baseliner on the court with wicked power and angles in her strikes, yet she maintains a girly glamorous side that is much appreciated.

Natalie Gulbis

8 - Natalie Gulbis

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. January 7, 1983
  • Height: 5'9
  • Weight: 122
  • Sport: Golf

The hottest reason to watch golf is the alluring Natalie Gulbis, professional golfer in the LPGA. Beginning at age 4 Natalie took an interest in the game and played in her first LPGA tour event when she was just 14. She went pro full time at age 18 after playing one season with the women’s golf team at the University of Arizona. While a good golfer—not phenomenal—she is better known for being the sex symbol of women’s golf. She’s been featured on the covers of FHM where she is scantily clad, gripping her putter. Her trademark on the course is her long, golden blonde hair accentuated with colorful ribbons, akin to something you would see on high school cheerleaders.

Gina Carano

9 - Gina Carano

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. April 16, 1982
  • Height: 5'8
  • Weight: 143
  • Sport: Boxing

Number nine will kick your ass. So watch your mouth and hands. The face of women’s MMA, with a 14-1 record, Gina Carano is one of the most beautiful, ass-kickenest babes on the planet. Ripped from the universe of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Gina Carano is a true princess-commando. She was the star basketball player of Trinity Christian High School, leading her team to the state title. But she’s not simply all brawn; she majored in psychology at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Carano began her mixed martial arts career in Muay Thai. After going 12-1-1, Carano was offered to participate in an all female MMA fight in Nevada; the first of its kind. After destroying all who stood in her way, she took a year off from competitive fighting—but stated she would make a comeback in 2011.

10 - Simona Halep

  • Country: Romania
  • D.O.B. September 27, 1991
  • Height: 5'6
  • Weight: 110
  • Sport: Tennis

Simona Halep rounds out the top ten in our list. She captivated audiences with her impressive 34 Double D’s, however she found that her large breasts were uncomfortable and interfered with her performance. I think she thought they brought too much attention. Either way she’s hot. Oh, did I mention that she plays tennis? Yeah, she plays tennis on the ITF Women’s Circuit and WTA Tour.

Sasha Cohen

12 - Hope Solo

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. July 30, 1981
  • Height: 5'9
  • Weight: 154
  • Sport: Soccer

To adore; that’s the definition that comes to mind when I think of the beautiful and inspiring Hope Solo, goaltender for the USA women’s soccer team. She has a reputation for speaking her mind, with a “never-back-down” attitude on the field. With her catlike reflexes, she once went a record 1,054 minutes without allowing a single goal. Apparently at some point she decided to go brunette. Whether she’s hotter blonde or brunette, we’ll let you decide, but there’s no denying that Hope Solo is the hottest goaltender in soccer.

Gretchen Bleiler

13 - Gretchen Bleiler

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. April 10, 1981
  • Height: 5'5

Wham, bam, thank you ma’am!!! Gretchen Bleiler comes in a 5’5, 126 lbs package of banging hips, legs, breast and ass. What more is there to say? • D.O.B. May 24, 1981 (Brazil)
  • Height: 6'0
  • Weight: n/a
  • Sport: Volleyball

At 6’0 Raquel Caulkins may be an intimidating woman to some men in awe of her, but not nearly as intimidating as when she lines up across the net from you. She’s a wall of defense, with her tall frame specifically engineered for volleyball. A native of Brazil, she moved to the United States and later began her collegiate career at Barton Community College in Kansas. Aside from volleyball, Raquel has done some bikini modeling.

Jennie Finch

15 - Jennie Finch

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. September 3, 1980
  • Height: 6'1
  • Weight: 168
  • Sport: Softball

Don’t even think about scoring a homerun on this chick. Jennie “Fastpitch” Finch is a tall, blonde woman with a vicious curve ball. Jennie began playing softball at the age of five and by age eight she began pitching. With her tall, athletic frame, Jennie was born to play sports. In high school Jennie played at least three sports, softball, basketball and volleyball; she was the captain of all three sports. In the 2004 Summer Olympics Finch pitched USA to the gold medal, and later a silver medal in the 2008 games.

Ashley Force

16 - Ashley Force

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. November 29, 1982
  • Height: 5'7
  • Weight: n/a
  • Sport: Drag Racing

I don’t care that you disagree with the fact that “Drag Racing” or racing of any sort is associated with “athletes.” The truth is I got tired of writing about tennis stars. I wanted something completely different. I’m also tired of hearing about Danica Patrick who must supplement her income with modeling because she can’t win any races.

Daughter of 15-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force, Ashley Force inherited her father’s need for speed. Her first win came against her father in 2008—perhaps as a surprise or not a surprise.

In 2008 Ashley became the president of John Force Entertainment, focusing on media projects. She has taken a hiatus from racing to focus on her family, but we at FullSpike can’t wait until she’s back the driver’s seat, warming up those tires and roaring down the quarter-mile.

Anna Rawson

17 - Anna Rawson

  • Country: Australia
  • D.O.B. August 5, 1981
  • Height: 5'10
  • Weight: n/a
  • Sport: Golf

This club-totting beauty comes from down-under. Not surprisingly she got into modeling at age 16, after she was a finalist in a cover contest for Aussie magazine “Dolly.” This allowed her more opportunities in modeling on the catwalk, magazines and television. But she felt a calling for golf and later became a member of the 1999 Australian National Squad, and after that she played collegiate golf for USC. Turning pro in 2004 she has never looked back. Her shots are hot, but nowhere near as hot as that sultry Aussie accent of hers. She is one of the reasons why men and women aren’t allowed to play golf together. Too much of a distraction for sure when she bends over to tee up the ball, while claiming in her Aussie accent, “It’s cold out, today.”

Amanda Beard

18 - Amanda Beard

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. October 29, 1981
  • Height: 5'9

Amanda Beard is the perfect example of looks and skill. She holds the world record in the 200-meter breaststroke, and when she just 14-years-old she won her first gold medal at the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta. In 2004 Amanda found Olympic gold again at the Athens games, while picking up a couple of silvers, too. She has a keen interest for fashion. . . “To look good in the water you have to pick the right swimsuit. I own close to 500.” – Amanda Beard.

Maria Sharapova

19 - Maria “Masha” Sharapova

  • Country: Russia
  • D.O.B. April 19, 1987
  • Height: 6'2
  • Weight: 135
  • Sport: Tennis

She was once No. 1 in the world, Maria Sharapova comes in at 19 on our list. Her tennis career has been speckled with injuries, yet despite this she has won 22 WTA singles titles and 3 WTA doubles titles. At the age 7 Maria began attending the tennis clinic in Moscow run by Martina Navratilova. Navratilova suggested that Maria continue training in Florida at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Thus the family the family moved. With just $700 to his name, Maria’s father took on low-paying odd jobs, even washing dishes, to raise enough funds to pay for lessons until she was old enough to be admitted into the academy. Her parents’ sacrifice paid off big time. Maria’s estimated competition-earnings are nearly $14 million, not including endorsements and sponsorships. I bet her father isn’t washing dishes anymore.

Venus Williams

20 - Venus Williams

  • Country: USA
  • D.O.B. June 17, 1980
  • Height: 6'1
  • Weight: 160
  • Sport: Tennis

Built like an Amazon, Venus Williams is a brick house. She has been ranked World No. 1 in singles three times. With her five Wimbledon singles titles, she is tied with two other women for eight on the all-time list. She’s also won 3 Olympic gold medals, making America very proud. During the Sidney Olympic games in 2000 Venus became only the second female player in history to win Olympic gold in both singles and doubles at the same time. The last time this happened was in 1924 by Helen Wills Moody. She currently holds the most singles titles for active players on the WTA tour with 43. She has met her sister eight times in Grand Slam singles finals, with Serena winning six of those.

Venus is the CEO of her interior design firm “V Starr Interiors” based in Jupiter, Florida. She also has her own clothing line, EleVen.
